Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support K-12 students in multiple schools located in the Atlanta area. This contract role is set to begin in January and continue through May, working Monday through Friday with a caseload that includes students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position focuses on delivering comprehensive OT services within a school environment, helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students across four assigned schools.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create effective individual education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support students physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy licensure required.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication skills with school staff and families.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
- Flexibility to travel between assigned schools within the district.
